More than 462 USD million invested in the transmission grid

The
Prime Minister has just approved the lists of project for the Power
Distribution Enhancement Investment program 3 (Tranche 3) sponsored by Asian
Development Bank (ADB) and German bank for Construction (KFW).
The project has a total investment of
462 USD million including 317.36 USD million of ODA loan and 144.64 USD million
of domestic capital.
🔯The project will
be implemented in 3 years (2015-2018) with the objective of expanding and
developing the national power transmission grid throughout the country; reducing
overload for the national grid and meeting the electricity demand in the project
area; timely transmitting capacity from new power plants to load areas;
maintaining and improving safety, reliability and quality of national power
transmission network./.
