Commissioning and energizing 2 220kV outgoing bays at 500kV Doc Soi substation

At 16h30 on November 17th 2016, National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) combined with relevant units organized commissioning and energizing 2 220kV outgoing bay at 500kV Doc Soi substations connecting to 220kV Son Ha substation.

This is one of 2 work items in 220kV Son Ha substation project, with a total cost of VND 395 billion invested by EVNNPT, Central Power Projects Management Board (CPMB) is on behalf of EVNNPT to manage the project, Power Engineering Consultation Company No. 4 (PECC4) is responsible for project design, Vietnam Installation Corporation (LILAMAH) is responsible for project implementation; A Vuong Hydropower Plant Company (AVHPC) is responsible for testing and calibration, Power Transmission Company No. 2 (PTC2) takes over its management and operation.

ಞScope of project: (i) The 220kV Son Ha substation includes of 2 transformers of 125MVA capacity (2x125MVA), a 220kV, 110kV distribution system; (ii) 02 220kV outgoing bays at 500kV Doc Soi substation.

🍌The project construction is to strengthen the receipt and evacuation of capacity from small- and medium-scale hydropower plants, ensuring a power supply to the load development demands in Quang Ngai province and surrounding areas./.
